About The Position

Leidos is a leader in providing Human Performance and Readiness support to the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Veterans Administration. They are seeking a F&BO (Finance & Business Operations) Manager to manage the Military One Source (MOS) program. Military One Source is a DoD program providing resources and educational materials, along with non-medical counseling services on the phone or online 24/7/365 to help active duty, National Guard, and Reserve members and their families cope with the rigors of military life. Services include Military OneSource call center support, web presence support, IT/IA support, return to operations (RTO)/disaster continuity of services support, non-medical counseling support, health and wellness coaching support, financial counseling support, strategic outreach support, and field consultants program support. The program is a $456M, 4-year contract encompassing T&M, CR, and Unit Pricing. The F&BO Manager will be responsible for all financial aspects of the MOS program and leading the MOS finance team.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 8+ years’ experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Proficient in Excel, Adobe, MS Office
  • Working knowledge of the Project Control field with the ability to complete difficult assignments
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Strong organizational skills needed to handle multiple task/projects and to work independently
  • Ability to analyze problems for root cause and implement corrective action
  • Ability to handle high volume of data (800+ Leidos employees, nine (9) subcontractors financial information, and high volume of travel and ODCs) in a fast-paced, cyclical and demanding work environment
  • Must possess proven capability and experience working both tandem and serial tasks, with a self-motivated and can do attitude

Responsibilities

  • Manage all financial aspects of the MOS program and MOS finance team
  • Responsible for the overall reporting of MOS program finances to include financial service level agreements (SLA) labor forecast, progress against internal financial performance metrics
  • Perform oversight from a financial perspective of proposal pricing including risk assessment and cash flow analysis
  • Financial lead for the MOS program providing financial strategic oversight for division
  • Leading monthly financial reviews (Awards, Net Bookings, Revenue, Fee, Cash)
  • Leading Annual Operating Plan for MOS and supporting the process through final presentations to senior management
  • Experience in Insight planning, and variance analysis
  • Overhead budgeting and management
  • Leading Estimate at complete process and presenting results
  • Leading Ad-Hoc special requests from the program and finance management teams
  • Interfaces directly with customer; participates in customer meetings
  • Creates Monthly Operating Review and Quarterly Business Review charts
  • Manages complex PC tasks, pulling billed hours with burdened and unburdened rates with comparison to invoiced values
