Overview The purpose of this job is to train to work with existing customers to retain mortgage financing on their property. Responsibilities Assist LO with customer inquiries by providing payment and cost information. Facilitate the application process via phone or internet. Produce disclosures and other written estimates Handle follow up calls for documentation, realtor updates and clearing underwriting conditions Mastering the skills needed for all aspects of loan origination. Study guidelines and show initiative to learn independently Provide sales support to LO such as courtesy calls, thank you notes, conducting sales activities etc. Coordinate loan closings with attorneys and closing agents Other duties as directed by the LO to provide sales and service support to customers and referral sources Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications 4 year college graduate, with 3.0 or higher -OR- Minimum of 3 years in previous customer service, marketing, mortgage lending or other related experience Expertise in communicating effectively with the public Marketing/Public relations education or real estate lending knowledge Outside sales or lead generation knowledge Ability to quickly adapt to software/systems Ability to interact with diplomacy and courtesy Excellent grammar and writing expertise Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
