About The Position

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking an additional Mortgage Servicing Manager. This position will lead the Mortgage Servicing and Secondary Marketing employees. The candidate must possess excellent leadership skills and the ability to supervise various mortgage servicing functions. Five years of previous mortgage servicing experience preferred. Responsibilities

  • Lead mortgage servicing functions to include the administration and coordination of all 1-4 family residential mortgage and HELOC loan servicing and operational functions.
  • Manage the phone system call distribution through reports to ensure adequate coverage and minimal dropped calls.
  • Oversee the successful locking, delivering, and selling of mortgage loans to investors through various channels.
  • Manage profitability of the assigned servicing groups including forecasting manpower requirements, capacity reports, and monitoring production and quality levels.
  • Ensure that services are delivered professionally and efficiently, and that members’ problems are resolved promptly.
  • Evaluate and document employee’s performance and be proactive in enhancing employee’s abilities and member service techniques.
  • Develop team members utilizing internal and external training resources.
  • Support a highly professional and productive working environment for their staff.
  • Coordinate, review, and approve weekly schedules, comp time, time off, and time clocks for the mortgage servicing staff.
  • Ensure all servicing related activities are performed in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures, investor requirements, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work well with others both within and across departments.
  • Create department reports for management.
  • Any other duties assigned by leadership from time to time.
