About The Position

We are seeking a temporary to permanent Mortgage Loan Processor to provide high-quality support to our members. This role is responsible for managing the complete residential mortgage process from application through close. This position ensures all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with credit union policies, investor guidelines, and federal regulations. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of mortgage products, regulatory requirements (including TRID and TILA), and experience using Calyx Point.

Requirements

• 3+ years recent mortgage processing experience
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations including TRID and TILA
• Proficiency with Calyx Point, Outlook and Microsoft Office including Excel
• Excellent time management and organizational skills are required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Take loan application by interviewing members in person and over the phone to identify needs and determine appropriate mortgage product
• Knows what type of documentation to gather
• Prepares and reviews all loan documents for completeness, accuracy and acceptability against loan conditions
• Issues proper disclosures as required by federal and state regulatory compliance
• Prepare files and orders all necessary third party services
• Ensures pricing is accurate and loan is processed and closed in accordance with policies
• Follow up with both borrowers and third parties to ensure the file advances through the process to ensure that no delays with closings
• Actively manage pipeline
