About The Position

First Continental Mortgage (FCM) is currently seeking a highly motivated, and qualified individual to fulfill the role of Post Closing Shipper in our Houston location. This is an in-office role.
For over 30 years, First Continental Mortgage (FCM) and affiliates, have shared a common purpose to help families realize the American dream of owning a home! FCM is a full-service, FNMA, HUD and VA approved national mortgage lending firm.
We specialize in partnering with Home Builders as well as retail production. FCM funded $2.6 Billion in 2024 through affiliated business arrangements with 10 different home builders, 5 of which rank in the Top 65 Home Builders in the country.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Post-Closing mortgage operations or related area.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage closing documents and Post-Closing processes.
• Experience working with Encompass and Investor Connect preferred.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ambition to grow within the mortgage industry.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-pased environment.

Responsibilities

• Review closed loan files for completeness and accuracy prior to shipment.
• Prepare and ship loan packages to investors in accordance with guidelines and deadlines.
• Ensure all required documents are properly executed and included in each file.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve Post-Closing issues.
• Other duties and special projects, as assigned.
