Perform real estate loan servicing, document preparation, and processing. Perform quality control activities. Prepare and maintain real estate loan servicing documents and escrow accounts. Major Duties and Responsibilities Answer members' questions about real estate lending. Provide amortization schedules, loan payoffs and loan rates to members. Explain disbursal of loan proceeds to members. Review payment schedules so that members understand their repayment obligation. Maintain real estate escrow records. Ensure credit union has documentation on paid taxes and adequate homeowners and flood insurance. Pay appropriate real estate taxes and insurances. Conduct annual escrow analysis. Responsible for properly maintaining loan information on core system and all follow-up paperwork including processing payroll deduction, distribution, allotments, automated payments, payment corrections, and printing payment coupons and late notices. Ensure loan information is properly processed into the core system. Maintain real estate loan files according to procedure. Monitor working real estate loan and interim construction files to ensure proper documents are obtained. Type letters to members for real estate loan officers. Perform notary public duties. Prepare satisfactions of mortgages on paid off mortgage loans. Ensure timely clearing of paid real estate loan files. Responsible for the balancing of loan servicing general ledger accounts. Responsible for disbursements and tracking of construction loans. Assist with any and all assignments and projects as requested by management. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
