As a Mortgage Loan Processor at San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union, your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth mortgage lending process. You will meticulously verify data entered into applications for accuracy and upload the necessary documents into our Loan Origination System (LOS). Your responsibilities include ordering appraisals, title work, termite inspections, and surveys, while maintaining regular communication through weekly email updates to all parties involved. You will diligently complete all requirements within the “process and validate” path in the LOS, clearing conditions set by our automated underwriting system. Once the appraisal is completed, you will mail it to the member and review credit reports alongside other documentation for secondary requirements. Additionally, you'll be responsible for submitting loans for underwriting approval, clearing file conditions for closing, and preparing documents within the LOS. Your support will extend to assisting mortgage originators with daily functions, including locking interest rates and creating disclosures. This role emphasizes collaboration and attention to detail, essential for a successful mortgage loan processing experience.
