Hours: 40 hours per week, including a Saturday rotation from 8am-12pm Job Purpose: Prepares loan documents for closing of consumer, agricultural, commercial and real estate loan products to ensure compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience processing consumer real-estate loans.
- Six months to one year of experience in an office environment.
- Successful completion of in-house training program (if available) or approved outside training program.
- Good understanding of financial institution products and services.
Responsibilities
- Processing of loan documents to include consumer real estate (TRID) loans for all locations and processing of loan documents for other loan types as needed for the main bank and other locations.
- Check documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates and signatures.
- Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documentation.
- Ensures that loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates and other relevant data.
- Maintains new and paid loan files. Performs a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures. Uses office computers for data input and other activities and orders credit reports.
- Provides administrative support to loan officers including updating loan data for entry into the financial institution’s computers and assembling loan documents.
- Carries out responsibilities with professionalism and respect for others in accordance with the bank’s policies.
- Assists other departments on a temporary basis as needed during peak hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
