As a Mortgage Loan Officer within PNC's Mortgage organization, you will be based in Greater Lakes Bay area, MI (Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, MI). PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. The role involves recommending loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients' requirements, managing customer relationships and pipelines, and seeking new client opportunities. It also includes conducting sales calls, preparing loan solutions, referring products, reviewing documentation for compliance, and collaborating with stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions. The officer will collect and analyze customer financial information for complex borrowers.

Requirements

Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
Candidates being considered for this position will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.

Responsibilities

Recommends loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients' requirements.
Manages a portfolio of customer relationships.
Seeks prospective opportunities to retain and/or develop new clients.
Responsible for sales calls.
Develops and prepares loan solutions and refers products and services; reviews documentation to ensure compliance.
Manages customer pipeline for efficiency.
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions.
Collects and analyzes customer financial information for multifaceted and/or complex borrowers.
