About The Position

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll help our borrowers take their steps toward homeownership, expertly guiding them through the loan application process and and walk them through the loan process—keeping everything simple, accurate, and on track. Requirements

  • Good understanding of the foundation of determining credit worthiness
  • Understanding of real estate law, regulations, and the secondary market
  • Familiarity with title reports, insurance, and appraisals
  • Able to motivate and align with members, partners, and teammates toward shared goals
  • Focused on smooth, responsible closings
  • Prefer action and measurable progress over endless planning
  • Motivated by clear outcomes like portfolio growth, funded loans, and fee income
  • Prioritizes long-term relationships over one-time transactions
  • A trusted advisor to our members and others can rely on
  • At least two to five years in consumer lending and sales, such as financial services, banking or credit union lending.
  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

Nice To Haves

  • Real estate background is preferred, but not required.
  • Plus if applicant has written and verbal proficiency and fluent in Spanish and English
