About The Position

Ent Credit Union and Wings Credit Union have joined forces in January 2026, creating expanded opportunities and resources. This Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) position in Longmont is crucial for establishing and growing the new service center, building relationships, and driving expansion in Longmont and Boulder County. The primary purpose of this role is to assist Ent's members and potential members in identifying and securing an appropriate mortgage loan to achieve their financial goals, including home ownership. MLOs will respond to and follow up on member inquiries from various sources, collect and analyze financial information, and assess financing circumstances to determine the best mortgage product. This also involves reviewing competing offers from other mortgage lenders and understanding the features of various loan products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' of mortgage industry origination or Mortgage sales experience.
  • Detailed understanding of FNMA, CHFA, FHA, and VA products and underwriting requirements.
  • Understanding of Non-profit down payment programs available to members.
  • Desktop Underwriter (DU) knowledge.
  • Strong technical experience to include; PC's, excel, database software and web knowledge.
  • Strong external sales and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • NMLS Registration in good standing.
  • Driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years' of mortgage experience with 2+ years in mortgage sales origination.

Responsibilities

  • External Realtor/Business development contacts, events, shows, seminars, education, committees.
  • Take applications and review initial findings & decision.
  • Analyze asset, income and DU required data independently.
  • Collect data and appraisal fees.
  • Continuing education.
  • Refer to other Ent departments (EIS/CRE/Etc).
  • Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
