The Mortgage Loan Closer will prepare and review critical closing documents for mortgage home loans and will be responsible for working closely with title companies to ensure all policies and procedures are maintained. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 9:00am-6:00pm.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Must have previous customer service experience.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in using Windows and Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to work in a deadline driven environment
- Must be able to work under time constraints and have a proven track record of dependability and attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Previous mortgage processing or closing experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Loan Processors to ensure accuracy of documents and submissions.
- Focus on mortgage assignment creation, including but not limited to creating assignments, title searches, and understanding chain of title and vesting.
- Responsible for meeting strict closing deadlines.
