About The Position

CTG is seeking a Mortgage Closing Specialist I to support our client in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant mortgage closings.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months

Requirements

• Experience with CD issuance, COC processes, and Encompass
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Associate’s degree + 1 year of relevant experience; OR
• 1+ year of mortgage closing + customer service experience; OR
• 3+ years combined education/work experience with relevant background

Nice To Haves

• Mortgage closing experience with a lender, title company, or settlement agent
• Knowledge of mortgage products, investor guidelines, and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with mortgage systems and departmental software
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage loan files for Closing Disclosure (CD) issuance
• Review and validate closing documentation (title, taxes, insurance, payoffs, fees)
• Ensure compliance with federal and state mortgage regulations
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, settlement agents, and internal teams
• Monitor rate locks, document expirations, and closing timelines
• Collaborate with settlement agents to obtain required fees and closing details
• Maintain pipeline reports and ensure deadlines are met in a high-volume environment
