About The Position

Citizens First Bank is looking for a Mortgage Closing Representative to join our Mortgage Closing Department! As a Mortgage Closing Representative, you'll be responsible for accurately entering closing data into our LOS system and electronically submitting closing packages to title companies. As a Mortgage Closing Representative, you'll be a key point of contact, ensuring smooth collaboration with both internal and external partners.

Requirements

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent and customer service experience.
• Accurate typing and keyboarding skills are essential as well as ten-key calculator experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.
• Must have excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Accurately inputs and verifies closing information within the database to prepare comprehensive closing packages.
• Compiles and electronically transmits closing packages to Title Companies.
• Manages updates to closing packages as new information becomes available.
• Stays current with industry regulation changes through ongoing continuing education.
• Communicates effectively with borrowers to explain the Closing Disclosure.
