About The Position
INOVA Federal is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Mortgage Closer to join our Mortgage Team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate closing documents and ensuring a smooth, compliant closing experience for both internal and external members.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review closing documents in compliance with TRID regulations
- Coordinate closing dates and times with processors to best serve members
- Ensure underwriting conditions are cleared prior to closing
- Review title commitments, verify rate locks, and confirm loan accuracy
- Order payoff statements, homeowner’s insurance, and flood insurance as needed
- Fund and post-close mortgage loan files
- Track loan recordings and final title policies
- Maintain strict confidentiality of member and credit union information
- Assist with processing and closing Home Equity Loans
