About The Position

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Mortgage Closer I to join our fast‑paced and high‑volume mortgage operations team. In this role, you’ll help prepare, coordinate, and finalize mortgage loan closings while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and organizational guidelines. Requirements

Experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced office environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to follow detailed procedures and compliance requirements
Comfortable working with automated systems and multiple software programs

Nice To Haves

Prior mortgage closing or mortgage processing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare and release mortgage closing packages to settlement agents
Review title documents, property status reports, and insurance policies
Confirm all underwriting and credit conditions are met before closing
Review closing disclosures and HUD documents for compliance
Communicate with attorneys, settlement agents, realtors, and borrowers
Coordinate scheduling of settlements and ensure all parties are informed
Handle equity loan closings, disclosures, and payoff checks
Ensure compliance with federal laws, company policies, and secondary market guidelines
Prepare complete, accurate files for post‑closing
Support other closing‑related tasks as needed
