SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES This position assists the Mortgage Banker as a point of contact for customers, builders, and realtors during the application process and supports the Mortgage Banker in their effort to increase production volume for the area as directed by the MOL. Ensures compliance with SouthState Banks Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other operating procedures. Completes compliance training, adheres to all anti-money laundering guidelines and procedures and all regulatory requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assists Mortgage Banker as a point of contact for customers, builders, and realtors during the application process Supports the Mortgage Banker in their effort to increase production volume for the area as directed by the banker Tracks loans through closing, answering customer questions regarding status of files and underwriting requirements Other related administrative duties as needed and/or assigned Accepts and performs other duties as determined to be essential Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Previous experience with FHA, State Housing Conventional, and FNMA/FMLMC loans is preferred
• Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Excellent communication and PC skills required along with strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities
