About The Position

Leading a classroom takes a special kind of skill. Montessori Certified Guides have been uniquely trained to deliver an authentic Montessori experience, encouraging children to be innovative and independent. As a Montessori Certified Guide you are an expert in: Sharing An Authentic Montessori Experience: Implement the Montessori curriculum and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences. Policies and Procedures: Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Teaching and Communicating: Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families. Gaining Knowledge: Complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics. We want joyful, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have: Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program (MACTE preferred). Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school or related field, and previous lead teacher experience preferred. Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.
