The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking individuals to collect crop and livestock information from farm and ranch operators and agricultural industry representatives. Data collection involves both phone and in-person interviews. The gathered information is used to generate estimates of agricultural data, which are then utilized by producers, buyers, and state and federal governments. Most surveys are voluntary for the operators, and while no selling is involved, rejection is a part of the job. This role is not suitable for individuals with full-time or rigid part-time commitments, as it requires availability during typical working hours and cannot be performed exclusively at night or on weekends. The ideal candidate will be available to work as needed.
