How you'll contribute A Monitor Technician who excels in this role: Under the supervision of the RN, performs telemetry monitoring. Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors. Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts. Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Tests equipment for proper working order. Reports equipment problems to supervisor. Review and comply with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures. What we're looking for Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required Skills: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
