About The Position

We are seeking a Molecular Biology & Protein Scientist to support : DNA construct design/assembly, sample preparation for sequencing, DNA production & quantitation, mammalian cell culture & transfections, protein purification & quantitation, and automated liquid handling directly on a client site. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in biochemistry or a related field who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced laboratory environment.

Requirements

B.S. in Biochemistry or a related field.
0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
Proficiency in aseptic technique and mammalian cell culture.
Basic understanding of molecular biology techniques.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

DNA plasmid design & cloning, purification, quantitation & QC
High throughput molecular biology operations, including PCR setup, ligation reactions, DNA purification using liquid handling automation.
Nanopore sequencing: sample preparation, system operation, & data analysis
Maintain mammalian cell lines using aseptic techniques and ensure consistent supply for twice-weekly transient transfection processes.
Perform transient transfections and purify antibodies/proteins using automated equipment under supervision.
Cell-free peptide expression using automated equipment under supervision.
Accurately document experimental procedures and results in client-provided Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs).
Analyze and summarize data upon training and contribute to troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
