About The Position

Operates mold machine processes to produce quality parts at the required productivity rate, in accordance with customer specifications and Hubbell Power Systems Quality Operating Principles.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Basic math and computer skills
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to use hand tools
Good communication, reading, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and with others
Willingness to support other departments as needed
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
Frequent carrying of items up to 44 pounds
Constant walking and standing
Reaching, pulling, bending, twisting, and climbing
Gripping/handling up to 5 lbs frequently
Must be able to distinguish colors and shades, and have depth perception
Heavy lifting (>45 lbs) up to 25% of the time
Light carrying (<15 lbs) up to 75% of the time
Straight pulling, pulling hand over head
Balancing, crawling, kneeling, stooping/bending, twisting
Sitting (intermittent/constant)
Climbing (both legs required)

Responsibilities

Produce quality molded parts using various molding process systems
Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs and adjustments to molding equipment
Perform 100% trim and inspection; identify and segregate scrap
Complete daily paperwork including Hour-by-Hour charts, part counting, and packaging
Maintain safety, quality, production, and 5S housekeeping standards
