Requirements

  • 3-5 years of related experience; preferably in Injection/Extrusion Blow Molding.
  • Understands Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
  • Must be a team player and able to demonstrate willingness and ability to provide assistance to co-workers.
  • Basic mechanical skills and experience using tools
  • High School Diploma or GED; Technical School preferred.
  • Or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical School preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports production by maintaining all molds in a production ready state.
  • Performs cleaning, tear-down, evaluation and repair of existing molds within the facility.
  • Performs cavitation and insert changes on compatible molds.
  • Documents cleanings, corrective actions, modifications, spare parts installed, and other relevant information for all molds within the facility using computer based systems (SAP).
  • Conducts cleaning, lubrication and polishing of applicable mold components.
  • Operates lift truck, overhead crane, and related equipment to lift, move, and handle molds.
  • Uses micrometer, calipers, and fixed or adjustable gauges as needed to check that mold components meet specified tolerances.
  • Sets up and operates various shop machinery including grinders, drills, mills, lathes and various hand tools.
  • Must be able to complete job assignments in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Know where applicable system documents are located.
  • Understand and complies with all company policies and procedures regarding, safety, ISO, GMP’s.
  • Communicate system non-conformances to managers or supervisors.
