About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience supporting injection molding machinery in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. The ideal candidate is mechanically and electrically strong, proactive in preventative maintenance, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably injection molding
• Strong working knowledge of injection molding machines and molds
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, sensors, and PLC troubleshooting (basic to intermediate)
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or shift work as required

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines (hydraulic, electric, and/or hybrid) and related auxiliary equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose machine faults, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions
• Support mold changeovers, startups, and process troubleshooting as needed
• Maintain and service auxiliary equipment such as dryers, chillers, conveyors, robots, and material handling systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, LOTO procedures, and company policies
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in CMMS or maintenance logs
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
