About The Position

As a Module Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving innovation in manufacturing processes and enabling Intel's future technology roadmap for defect inspection tool. You will optimize advanced manufacturing processes and solutions to meet high-volume production demands and create cutting-edge product designs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related discipline such as Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field AND a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in statistical process control (SPC), semiconductor manufacturing, OR manufacturing environments.
  • OR Master’s degree in a related STEM-related discipline such as Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and propose solutions
  • Passion for technology development and contributing to Intel's vision of technological leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in design of experiments (DOE) principles.
  • Strong technical skills in manufacturing process improvement and integration.
  • Experience in process troubleshooting and optimization, including material selection and equipment parameterization.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and manufacturing technologies.
  • Ability to use data analytics tools effectively for process characterization and improvement.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, with a focus on advanced packaging modules like Metrology.
  • Proven skills in stakeholder management, including supplier collaboration and project coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for optical inspection equipment to meet quality, reliability, cost, and yield requirements.
  • Design and implement solutions for process integration, equipment metrology for FOK defect inspection tools.
  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers to develop enabling technologies and ensure adherence to Intel's manufacturing standards.
  • Analyze data and conduct statistical evaluations to support process development and validate proposed solutions.
  • Identify and implement modifications to existing equipment and processes to improve production efficiency and output.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to anticipate and address future Intel process technology needs.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation (SPEC) to communicate design parameters, experimental findings, and process improvements effectively.
