Requirements

  • Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines with 2+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor processing, manufacturing, or cleanroom environments.
  • OR Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in wafer-level assembly module engineering or fab process and hardware technology development.
  • Experience in statistical methods such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) or Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Experience with semiconductor packaging and assembly technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex process issues and apply structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes and analytical techniques.
  • Experience working with advanced process control systems and data analysis tools such as JMP software.
  • Initiative in driving continuous improvement projects and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive technology development and enablement for high-volume manufacturing and advanced future technologies, focusing on process integration and equipment solutions.
  • Lead the design and development of sophisticated manufacturing processes, including material selection, parameter optimization, equipment metrology, and system design.
  • Conduct feasibility studies using theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods to achieve desired device specifications.
  • Perform pathfinding activities to support process and hardware development for innovative device architectures.
  • Develop technology roadmaps to enable future advancements and maintain Intel's technological leadership.
  • Partner with equipment and materials suppliers to implement enabling elements for advanced technologies.
  • Recommend and implement modifications to existing equipment to enhance production efficiency, manufacturing techniques, and output optimization.
  • Stay updated on industrial trends in process and material manufacturing to anticipate future technology needs and drive innovation.
