Requirements

  • High School/GED preferred
  • Knowledge of low/med voltage AC motors preferred
  • Understand and follow safety procedures
  • Strong mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to understand and follow written procedures
  • Ability to use and operate manual tools and power tools in hands-on applications
  • Forklift operation experience preferred
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software
  • SAP and other business software experience is preferred
  • 2 to 4 years of related experience
  • You must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Modify electric motors as per customer specification.
  • Deliver finished product to designated shipping area
  • Processing of completed production orders and quality inspection sheets in SAP daily.
  • Support the Mod Shop Lead in projects to achieve on time delivery goals.
  • Perform tasks in a safe environment while using all necessary PPE
  • Complete daily equipment operation checklists
  • Complete daily cleaning assignments
  • Ability to complete assigned modification jobs without assistance
  • Ability to follow test equipment procedures and interpret test results
  • Ability to identify physical nonconformities on AC motors
  • Knowledge to properly identify materials & components for modifications
  • Ability to assist fellow technicians on modifications
