Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use inspection tools.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic mechanical skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn software systems as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Wear safety-toed footwear.
  • Safety glasses with side shields.
  • Hearing protection.
  • Additional personal protective equipment as required.
  • Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift.
  • Lift 25–50 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above shoulder level.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing assignments.
  • Warehouse and manufacturing areas with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, and noise.
  • May involve working near moving mechanical parts and using solvents or lubricants.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or product modification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Modify Rittal products to meet customer specifications.
  • Perform First Article Inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct paint touch-ups as needed.
  • Understand and follow assembly instructions for Rittal products.
  • Maintain accuracy of materials used and recorded.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude in daily tasks.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to guide modifications.
  • Use inspection tools to verify product quality and specifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
