About The Position

CACI is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Engineer (Intermediate) to support a program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. If you have a background in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Physics with a desire to work on a critical large-scale contract we would like to speak with you. This is a 100% on-site position at the ARAT Computer Lab in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Telework or remote work is not available.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Active Secret Clearance preferred.
  • 2+ Years of Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics)
  • Knowledge of General Coding Fundamentals, to include variables, functions, Booleans, arrays and array manipulation, and code logic
  • Creating algorithms that produce different results based on various provided inputs
  • Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Comfortable using standard Windows and Office tools

Nice To Haves

  • An active DoD Secret clearance. TS/SCI preferred.
  • Able to digest new technical information at a rapid pace for practical use
  • Eagerness to improve efficiency and streamline work procedures
  • Experience in RF test equipment
  • Experience with Gitlab
  • Familiarity with engineering hardware analysis tools (Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers) and hardware connectivity and protocols
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral

Responsibilities

  • The primary focus of this position is the development of radar threat simulations that will be used during Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) equipment software testing and validation.
  • Tasks performed may include, but are not limited to, radar signal parameter analysis/interpretation, radar signal simulation development.
  • With training, you will interpret parametric data and descriptions of both mechanical and RF capabilities of a system
  • Understanding how the system functionally operates and use that information to create radar emitter simulations
  • Discern which design and functional characteristics of radar systems affect which characteristics of an emitted radar signal
