Torch Technologies is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Integration Engineer (Junior) to join our team and support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Engineering Directorate Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Office. This role supports the testing and integration of the Missile Defense System (MDS) within a distributed Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) simulation environment for ground and flight test events, as well as broader DoD partner support. As a Modeling and Simulation Integration Engineer (Junior), your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: Support the integration, testing, and operation of HWIL simulation environments for MDS Ground Tests, Flight Tests, and continuous integration activities. Conduct installation, configuration, checkout, and testing of Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) systems in accordance with program requirements. Analyze HWIL architecture performance and assist in identifying and resolving hardware/software integration issues. Collaborate with government personnel, contractors, and internal teams to support mission objectives and test execution. Develop and execute test scenarios, including threat modeling and simulation for mission-specific requirements. Document system configurations, test procedures, and results, and generate reports to support test events and analysis. Participate in technical reviews, working groups, and team meetings, and provide status updates as required. Support mission planning, execution, and post-event analysis for ground and flight test activities, including pre-mission risk reduction and post-flight reconstruction.
