MTSI is seeking to hire a Modeling and Simulation Engineering Manager to support various program initiatives throughout the MTSI enterprise, including, but not limited to projects for various government and commercial customers including MDA, Space Force, and the U.S. Navy. Emphasis areas will include Lethality, Threat Engineering and Kill Web analysis primarily as they relate to the mission space surrounding Golden Dome for America. Work will include briefing internal and external stakeholders on work completed and planned, concepts, innovations and recommendations for future development. The engineer will be expected to lead projects while conducting research and development practices consistent with DoD Systems Engineering processes and may be assigned documentation duties consistent with the function of systems engineering on any related project. Multiple projects may be at work at the same time requiring strong agility skills and opportunities to synergize across programs. It is expected that this employee will be outgoing, energetic, and self-starter looking to be part of an engineering leadership team. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to integrate Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital twins, and advanced simulation tools into engineering workflows. Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of digital engineering platforms and technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering initiatives with organizational goals. Provide mentorship and training to engineering teams to enhance their digital engineering proficiency. Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive. Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and processes for systems engineering and digital engineering. Qualifications: US citizenship is required and must have a minimum of a TOP SECRET clearance with ability to obtain SCI and SAP clearances as needed. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering or a related field. 15+ years of experience in Modeling & Simulation relevant to topics like Threat Engineering, Lethality Analysis and Countering Advanced Weapon Systems. Systems Engineering acumen is essential Project Management experience Professional experience with Hypersonic and/or M&S and testing, hypersonic systems and technology Capability and experience with modern Multiphysics M&S systems Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Outgoing, energetic, self-starter looking to be part of an integrated team. Proven track record of leading large-scale Modeling & Simulation initiatives. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills – both written and verbal.
