Our specialized focus lies in crafting high-quality models, prototypes, and manufacturing/design solutions. The ADL is actively seeking a CNC prototype machinist to join our team. This role entails preparing materials, setting up the CNC Mill/Turn machines, programming tool paths, and conducting thorough spot checks on finished components, all while ensuring adherence to stringent quality and safety standards.As a CNC prototype machinist, you will be responsible for working independently on assignments that demand exceptional judgment and initiative. You will collaborate closely with a team to ensure the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, accurately follows operational and routine maintenance instructions, demonstrates the ability to quickly adapt to new processes, and effectively communicates project progress on a regular basis. Requirements

  • 5+ yrs experience in multi-axis operation and programming
  • Programming experience with general part geometries as well as free form shapes
  • Knowledge of Machine code
  • Experience using horizontal and vertical saws, manual mills and lathes
  • Ability to apply and advise on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances
  • Experience reading, interpreting and applying detailed part drawing requirements
