What you'll Work On: Develop practices and standards. Recommend common modeling framework and required model elements and diagrams to ensure fidelity. Approve model taxonomy and libraries for consistency. Develop data tagging and model security marking. Develop model discoverability and cataloging, MBSE modeling and data guidance best practices. Review existing DoD, DON, or NAVSEA-level guidance for direction on minimum system model standards. Augment DoD, DON, or NAVSEA-level guidance with industry best practices. Select best-fit model taxonomy and release PEO guidance. Develop data tagging and security marking process and procedure for system models. Establish process and guidance on model discoverability and model catalog. Recommend a common model framework, necessary model elements, taxonomy and libraries. Provide guidance on model data tagging, security marking, discoverability, cataloging, and best practices. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in applying model-based systems engineering through development of system models for defense or aerospace programs
  • 5+ years of experience with using SysML
  • 2+ years of experience in applying metrics suites, custom profiles, and validation rules to system models
  • Ability to develop and apply modeling standards and best practices
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science, or Technology field
  • CSMP Level 2 or OCSMP Model Builder- Intermediate Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with using the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
  • Possession of strong oral and written communication skills
  • Master’s degree in an Engineering, Science, or Technology field
  • INCOSE ASEP Certification
  • OCSMP Model Builder- Advanced Certification
