About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineer with an Active Secret Clearance in support of NAVWAR’s Naval Operational Architecture (NOA) Program. Candidates will develop models, architectural products, and digital artifacts for a System of Systems (SoS) in accordance with standards, best practices, policies, and procedures. In this role, the Model Based Systems Engineer will be an integral team member supporting assured Command and Control capabilities for our DoD customer within the Navy Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities

• Apply modeling to support a system or system of systems (SoS) requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle phases.
• Manage/coordinate information and resources to meet digital thread-related objectives. Implement a model-based culture, leveraging capabilities of the digital enterprise environment infrastructure of the organization.
• Utilize model data support to enable the creation of a digital thread across other engineering disciplines (e.g., cyber and configuration management)
