About The Position

XSITE LLC is seeking a TTX MBSE Modeler to join our team in San Diego, CA, providing direct support to the Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I). This role is central to the technical success of the PEO C4I Tabletop Exercise (TTX) Series. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving the authoritative digital system architecture models that form the backbone of each exercise. Using CAMEO, you will translate complex mission threads and stakeholder requirements into functional models, creating the diagrams, views, and data filters necessary for robust analysis. This position requires strong systems modeling skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams to ensure C4I systems and their interactions are accurately represented. The TTX MBSE Modeler plays a pivotal role in creating a dynamic, model-based environment to validate system architectures, identify integration gaps, and support data-driven decisions for the fleet.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or digital systems engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience with SysML/UML and hands-on use of a modeling tool such as CAMEO, MagicDraw, or Enterprise Architect.
  • Experience with Naval or DoD C4I systems, architectures, or operational concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical system information and stakeholder requirements into a structured digital model.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex system interactions.
  • Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field required.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience using CAMEO to build and manage complex system models.
  • Experience with PEO C4I systems and mission threads.
  • Knowledge of Navy operational planning or kill chain analysis.
  • Familiarity with system interface standards and Information Exchange Requirements (IERs).
  • Experience presenting technical information to military and civilian stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a detailed, evolving architecture model.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own, develop, and maintain the master architecture models in CAMEO for the TTX series at both SECRET and TS/SCI classification levels.
  • Serve as the sole modeling focus for TTX-related missions/kill chains and their associated systems.
  • Dynamically update and configure models during TTX planning, execution, and analysis phases based on real-time stakeholder input and evolving scenarios.
  • Build and customize TTX model functionality, including creating required SysML/UML diagrams, custom tables, data views, and presentation filters.
  • Collaborate with TTX stakeholders to research, gather, and translate system data and operational requirements into the formal MBSE model.
  • Interface with non-PEO program offices and external partners to gather and integrate "Blackbox" system interface and performance data into the CAMEO model.
  • Utilize the model to identify, document, and help coordinate the resolution of integration "seam issues" between PEO C4I portfolio systems and external systems-of-systems.
