About The Position

The Mod Center Technician is responsible for assembling, modifying, and packaging products according to customer specifications and company standards. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality guidelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in hand tools, measuring equipment, and inspection tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

Assemble components and products following work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
Deburring and painting products.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
Perform visual inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards.
Modify Rittal products based on customer requirements.
Package finished products for shipment or further processing.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 6-S and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform other duties as assigned.
