About The Position

Provides technical support to minimize delays, cancellations, and OOS impacts; to identify chronic systems problems; to develop, prioritize, and implement repair action plans. Essential Functions Identifies opportunities to improve the reliability of the fleet and ensure safety and regulatory fitness. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current A&P Licenses.
• Six (6) years experience maintaining transport category Aircraft (Turbine Powered and M.E.W. Greater Than 12,500 Lbs.) including five (5) years in Avionics, Airframe, or Power Plant, as applicable (see posting note).
• Knowledge of FedEx maintenance programs, operation specifications, and applicable portion of federal air regulations desired.
• Must meet department proficiency requirements.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work odd work weeks and rotating shifts.
• FAA Covered Safety Sensitive Position. Subject to regulatory Alcohol & Drug Testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

• B767 and B777 experience preferred
