About The Position

The Mobile Services Lead is a regional leadership position responsible for delivering a high-performing, customer-centric mobile network while driving commercial growth and operational excellence across Liberty Caribbean markets. Based in Sint Maarten, this role provides strategic and operational oversight for Mobile Services regionally, leading Mobile Operations and Engineering teams across Core, RAN, Transport, and Value-Added Services. The role owns the end-to-end mobile network strategy—from daily operational performance to long-term growth planning and technology evolution—translating network quality into measurable customer experience and business outcomes across multiple markets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in line management, team development, and motivating teams to achieve targets.
  • Deep understanding of RAN technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G), Core Networks, IMS, BSS/OSS, Cloud, Network Virtualization, and Performance Modeling.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and drive initiatives at both strategic and detailed levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to perform root cause analysis, manage escalations, and implement effective recovery strategies.
  • Excellent ability to communicate with various stakeholders, build relationships, and foster collaboration.
  • A proactive, business-minded approach to identify opportunities and contribute to long-term business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, recruit, train, and manage Mobile Operations and Engineering teams to achieve broader organizational goals, including but not limited to best performing network of market.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring network high reliability, optimizing capacity, and leadingmaintenance activities such as rehoming, migrations, load balancing, optimizations.
  • Developing Key Performance Indicators for Mobile Services and mapping the network performance with NPS. Ensuring to deliver the best quality network with KPIs and NPS
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for Mobile growth, capacity enhancements, and technological advancements. Build the plan and deliver within agreed budget and timelines.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively identifying issues and proposing solutions for improvement.
  • Manage budgets for the Mobile ( Core/ RAN/ VAS/ Transport Networks) Service Area, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (NOC, Operations, Project Teams) and external partners(suppliers, shareholders) to ensure seamless delivery and alignment on objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal Legal & Regulatory Team, and Country Managers, and represent as technical expert to ensure that telecom operations are running within defined regulations
  • Operating Network with customer centricity approach, and planning and executing network deployments with a focus on Commercial Growth of Company
  • Provide technical support and guidance on Mobile technologies, network issues, and product roadmaps. Work closely with Field Support, Core, RAN, TX team to resolve any issues.
  • Experienced on managing the Network Emergencies and leading them up to resolution.
  • Generate management reports, oversee performance, and ensure compliance with all contracts and standards.
