Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mobile Service Technician to join our team in this full-time position. This role will provide on-site repair and maintenance services for commercial trucks and fire apparatus. This position is ideal for a motivated, mechanically skilled professional who enjoys working independently in the field while delivering high-quality customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience servicing commercial trucks such as Bucket, Crane, Tow and Fire Apparatus
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
  • Clean driving record
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Basic computer or tablet skills for service documentation
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mobile diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on Fouts commercial vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently
  • Complete repairs at customer locations, roadside calls, or job sites
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, repairs, and safety concerns
  • Accurately update and close work orders with work performed, parts used, travel and labor time
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment
  • Coordinate with warranty administrators, production team, sales team, and management as needed
