Responsibilities include: Patrolling: The primary responsibility of security guards in mobile patrols is to conduct regular and systematic patrols of the designated area. Officers cover all areas comprehensively, including parking lots, perimeters, and interior spaces, to deter potential threats and identify any security breaches. Surveillance: They remain vigilant, closely monitoring movements and behaviors to identify potential security risks. Alarm Response: In the event of an alarm activation or security breach, mobile patrol guards are trained to respond swiftly and decisively. They assess the situation, determine the appropriate action, and effectively intervene to mitigate risks or threats. Emergency Response: Mobile Patrols Security Guards are equipped to handle various emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and natural disasters. They are trained in first aid, CPR, and emergency evacuation procedures to ensure a prompt and coordinated response to crises. Customer Service: Despite their primary focus on security, mobile patrol officers are also customer service ambassadors. They interact with contractors, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally, aiding, providing information and reassurance as needed. Report Writing: Patrol Officers maintain detailed logs and incident reports documenting their patrol activities, observations, and any security incidents encountered during their shifts. These reports are crucial documentation for assessing security risks and implementing preventive measures. Collaboration with Law Enforcement: In cases where law enforcement intervention is necessary, mobile patrol officers coordinate closely with local authorities to aid and support. They act as a liaison between the property or establishment, facilitating effective communication and cooperation For the preferred additional special skillset: Enhanced Coverage: Patrol large areas to ensure property is monitored and secure. The campus is large but requires attention due to the employees who office at the location. Prevention of Crime: Regular patrolling acts as a deterrent to potential criminals, reducing the risk of theft or perimeter security breaches. Quick Response: Their vehicles allow them to respond to incidents much faster to potential security breaches or criminal activities. Response is limited to an observe and report approach with a request for LEO assistance when identified
