As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to support a reassuring presence, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and emergency personnel when necessary as part of incident response protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while carrying out assigned duties.
