About The Position

The Vehicle Patrol Security Officer is responsible for conducting assigned patrol routes while providing security coverage, visibility, and incident response across designated client properties. This role focuses on safeguarding people and property, documenting activity, and maintaining a professional presence. Patrol Officers serve as front-line representatives of Armorous, ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to company and client expectations.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (required)
• Clean driving record (required)
• Must be fully compliant with all BSIS requirements
• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional in stressful or fast-moving situations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow post orders and procedures
• Basic comfort using mobile technology and reporting systems
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Must be dependable and punctual for scheduled patrol coverage

• Prior experience with mobile patrol a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct assigned patrol routes as scheduled, ensuring consistent and timely coverage of all designated areas.
• Patrol client properties by vehicle and/or on foot to deter unauthorized activity and identify safety or security concerns.
• Enforce site-specific post orders, company policies, and client requirements at all times.
• Monitor premises for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations and take appropriate action.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm and professional manner.
• Provide clear and accurate incident reports, patrol reports, and activity logs using TrackTik or other designated systems.
• Maintain a visible and professional presence while interacting with clients, tenants, visitors, and the public.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and customer service skills when addressing conflicts or disturbances.
• Communicate promptly with Operations or a Supervisor regarding incidents, site concerns, or operational issues.
• Ensure issued equipment and uniforms are worn and maintained in accordance with company standards.
• Support staffing and coverage needs when required, including temporary site assignments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Operations Management.
