About The Position

Yancey Bros. Co. has been the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia since 1914, providing high-quality sales, parts, and service for heavy and compact construction equipment and on-highway trucks. The company is committed to understanding customer needs and offering support. The Mobile Hose Service Technician will travel to customer work locations to build and install hydraulic hose assemblies on-site. This role requires a strong sense of urgency and a desire to provide superior customer service, as well as the ability to take direction and work in a team environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with hand tools.
  • Must be 21-years-old or older.
  • Valid, active driver's license.
  • Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file, including but not limited to: Background check and MVR with less than 10 points.
  • DOT Physical
  • Drug Screen
  • Ability to become fork lift certified and adhere to all Yancey safety standards
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively and occasionally higher amounts with assistive device

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with and basic knowledge of hydraulics
  • Experience with hydraulic manufacturing machines

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain mobile hydraulic hose van in established territory
  • Inspect, identify, measure and build hydraulic hoses on work sites
  • Remove and replace hydraulic hoses on construction and industrial equipment
  • Maintain mobile workshop and inventory
  • Develop customer relationships and prospect for new business
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.
