The Mobile Equipment Mechanic II role involves performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mobile equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation, completing preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and collaborating with team members to prioritize repairs and maintain equipment availability. The position also requires maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated capability in diagnosing and repairing mobile equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to learn and apply new skills
  • Commitment to working safely and following established procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Successful candidate must be able to meet all physical requirements of the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mobile equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks and document work performed
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and maintain equipment availability
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work area
