About The Position

We're looking for a MDM IT Lead to join our team! As a MDM IT Lead for Esler Companies - Renewal by Andersen you'll be responsible for the governance, security, architecture, and lifecycle management of approximately 1,800 iPads used across the enterprise. You'll operate with a high degree of discretion and independent judgment and serve as the primary authority for mobile systems strategy, standards, and platform ownership.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of progressively responsible experience in mobile device management, endpoint management, or enterprise IT systems administration.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and owning enterprise-scale MDM platforms such as Meraki, Intune, JAMF, MobileIron, or Workspace ONE.
  • Advanced knowledge of iOS and iPadOS configuration, security models, and lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to independently design systems, establish standards, and exercise judgment on architecture, security, and platform strategy.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Experience leading enterprise technology migrations or platform replacements.
  • Background in enterprise security, identity management, networking, or endpoint architecture.
  • Experience supporting large, distributed device fleets across multi-site environments.
  • Relevant IT certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert and functional owner for all mobile device management systems.
  • Design, implement, govern, and continuously improve the enterprise mobile device management environment.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a new enterprise MDM platform, including vendor engagement and migration strategy.
  • Establish and maintain mobile device standards, policies, security baselines, and lifecycle governance.
  • Own device enrollment workflows, configuration profiles, compliance enforcement, updates, and decommissioning.
  • Develop automation and self-service capabilities to reduce operational friction and increase system reliability.
  • Partner with Renewal by Andersen Corporate and affiliate stakeholders to align with enterprise technology standards and rSuite requirements.
  • Collaborate with security, networking, and infrastructure teams to ensure mobile systems are fully integrated into the broader IT ecosystem.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate mobile technology risks, including security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
  • Serve as the escalation authority for complex mobile system issues and guide resolution strategy.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to IT staff on mobile systems best practices and standards.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, standards, and operating procedures.
  • Take ownership of mobile system outcomes regardless of origin.
  • Apply sound judgment and prioritization to balance competing technical, security, and operational demands.
  • Operate with autonomy while keeping leadership aligned and informed.
  • Support teammates during high-impact projects and system events.
