About The Position
The Mobile Club Director delivers Boys & Girls Club programming to youth and teens across the organizations Clubhouses, neighborhoods, schools, and community centers. The Mobile Club Director is responsible for creating safe, fun, and engaging environments that bring a high-quality Club experience directly to youth and teens – that will emphasize on programming, youth program quality, mobile operations, administrative compliance, and youth engagement and safety.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
- High School degree or G.E.D. is required
- A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization which includes the supervision of youth and the implementation of programs and activities
- A minimum of 2 years’ work experience as a supervisor
- including appropriate discipline techniques
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with internal staff and external partners
- A passion and understanding of the mission, objectives, policies, programs, and procedures of BGCK
- An understanding of the needs and interests of young people
- Ability to maintain a positive, friendly, and cooperative attitude in the workplace
- High ethical standards
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to supervise and motivate staff
- Ability to deal effectively with youth
Nice To Haves
- College degree from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required

- May be required to run program areas as needed
- Travel between Clubs and/or the Admin Office for trainings and meetings
