About The Position

Leads, promotes, and grows the Ambassador Club by developing and executing strategies focused on recruiting new qualified members, retaining existing members, and strengthening long-term customer relationships. The position plans, initiates, and oversees activities for current and prospective Ambassador Club members, including educational seminars, social events, travel, and community engagement. Supports Ambassador Club efforts at other locations and looks for growth initiatives by attracting new customer relationships, supporting deposit growth, and ensuring the program remains relevant and sustainable for the future.

Requirements

  • Post high school education and/or two years marketing/public relations experience.
  • Excellent computer skills in various applications. Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher: skills in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to comfortably host and present to audiences of up to 200 people.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence others, and professionally represent the organization.
  • Socially skilled with strong organizational, leadership, and planning abilities.
  • Warm, friendly personality with sensitivity to the needs of senior customers.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, including travel with groups by motor coach, airplane, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Valid passport or ability to obtain a passport within 90 days of hire.
  • Irregular hours may be necessary to perform duties.
  • Light Work - exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, fingering, grasping, repetitive motions, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, pulling, pushing, thinking, concentrating and interacting with others.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an annual Ambassador Club growth plan focused on recruiting new qualified members who meet minimum deposit requirements.
  • Actively recruit and prospect new Ambassador Club members through referrals, events, community partnerships, and collaboration with bank staff.
  • Build strong, ongoing relationships with Ambassador Club members to encourage long-term loyalty, engagement, and deposit retention.
  • Serve as a key ambassador for Platte Valley Bank within the community, promoting the value of the Ambassador Club and broaden banking relationships.
  • Plan, promote, and execute Ambassador Club activities, including parties, educational seminars, trips, movies, and other events designed to attract and retain members.
  • Work with and assist other Ambassador Club Coordinators in the PVC communities we serve and support Club expansion opportunities.
  • Develop contacts with travel agents, vendors, and community organizations to provide high-quality activities and experiences for members.
  • Evaluate existing Ambassador Club programs and events for effectiveness, engagement, and return on investment.
  • Track and report Ambassador Club metrics, including membership growth, retention, participation, and referral activity.
  • Keep Ambassador Club information current and accurate for members.
  • Create and distribute a bi-monthly newsletter and other communications for Ambassador Club members.
  • Create internal educational content, including videos or podcasts, to support marketing and associate educational efforts.
  • Stay informed on bank and insurance products to promote awareness, cross-sell opportunities, and relationship expansion among members.
  • Partner with branch leadership, bankers, and associates to identify and refer prospective Ambassador Club members.
  • Review, monitor, and manage program expenditures; submit bills for payment.
  • Recruit other PVC associates to assist with activities and functions as needed.
  • Assist with company-wide functions.
  • Supports marketing, communications, and public relations initiatives for Platte Valley Companies and collaborates closely with bank leadership and retail teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
