We are actively searching for an experienced and energetic individual to become an Busperson (Union Extra/ On-Call) for MKT Restaurant service at Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco! The Role - Overview This critical role is an integral part of the food & beverage department and is responsible for personalized and informative service in an upscale environment.

Requirements

  • Must have minimum of one year experience in an upscale/fine dining restaurant experience.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage required.
  • Ability to quickly and positively establish rapport is required .
  • Above average communication skills - both written and oral - are required .
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language is required .
  • Able to work a flexible schedule; days, weekends and holidays .

  • Current Four Seasons employees, bilingual candidates and those with prior experience in a luxury hotel/environment will receive priority consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Restaurant Servers with all aspects of service.
  • Clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, glassware and silverware in an unobtrusive manner.
  • Move tables and chairs throughout the restaurant as needed.
  • Answer questions regarding menu and other offering, including specials, in the immediate absence of a server.
  • Clearly communicate with servers, other restaurant employees and supervisors/management regarding regular service, special requests, service issues, and any other important information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
