About The Position

Mixing Material Handler utilizes a forklift to supply and transport materials, components, rubber compound, etc. In this role you will be responsible for supplying material to various locations including machines and/ or docks in a safe and efficient manner. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTAssists with operating the Mixer, including sequencing, exchange of pallets, rubber containers, and control panel operations.Monitor weight measurement process for each type of compound.Work with Mixing Management Systems (MMS)Assist with exchange of pallets, containers, and trolleysPractice and follow tolerances and standards for chemical weightsPossess and apply problem solving skills in case of machine cycle issuesFollow recipe weight measurements and ensure accuracyRead specifications, use hand tools, and gauging devices, to monitor current and ongoing product quality. React quickly to equipment downtime or other extraordinary condition, and must notify supervision whenever such conditions occur.Perform actions with a control panel interface, both automatic and manual.Communicate with other inbound and outbound operators, production operators, other crew members and supervision.Follow all plant policies, environmental policies, and departmental safety policies.Performs other duties as directed by the shift leaders or management team.

Requirements

  • HS diploma /GED
  • Previous Forklift driving experience
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts - days, nights, and weekends.
  • Successful completion of a minimum Work Keys:Applied Math 4Graphic Literacy 4Workplace Documents 3

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year prior experience in manufacturing

Responsibilities
