About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Mixing Manager to join our team. The Mixing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the mixing process of various materials to ensure that they meet quality standards and production goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or production environment and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. Oversee the mixing process of various materials to ensure that they meet quality standards and production goals Train and supervise mixing staff to ensure that they are following safety protocols and production procedures Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the mixing process Maintain accurate records of production and quality control data Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production goals are met Ability to manage schedules, staffing, and workflow to meet production goals What We Do: Arcadia is a people-first organization. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with performance metrics (OEE, waste reduction, labor efficiency, downtime tracking)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skill
  • AI Assist production reporting systems
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English)
  • General understanding of raw material inflows and ERP systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

  • Recipe Adherence
  • Ensure accurate and consistent adherence to juice recipes and formulations.
  • Oversee the proper measuring and mixing of ingredients.
  • Quality Control
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures during the mixing process.
  • Monitor the taste, color, and texture of juice blends to meet quality standards.
  • Enforce product specs and regulations.
  • Equipment Maintenance
  • Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of mixing equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
  • Staff Supervision
  • Lead and supervise the mixing team, providing guidance and training.
  • Ensure staffing levels are adequate for production demands.
  • Hiring and disciplinary actions
  • Inventory Management
  • Manage ingredient inventory levels to avoid shortages or excesses.
  • Implement proper storage procedures for ingredients.
  • Manage inbound material flows.
  • Safety Compliance
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that employees follow safety guidelines.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions for the mixing team.
  • GMP compliance
  • Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of ingredient usage, production yields, and quality checks.
  • Generate reports on production efficiency and variances.
  • Coordinating employee one on ones and corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in mixing operations.
  • Implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Communication
  • Liaise with other departments, such as quality assurance and production, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate any issues or deviations from standards to relevant parties.
  • Cost Control
  • Monitor and control costs related to ingredient usage and production processes.
  • Seek cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality.
  • General understanding of inbound raw materials.
  • Training and Development
  • Provide ongoing training to the mixing team on new processes or equipment.
  • Foster a culture of learning and skill development.
  • Schedule
  • Flexibility in work hours is required.
  • Adjusting to trial or customer demand
  • Efficiency Monitoring
  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor mixing efficiency.
  • Take corrective actions to improve performance when necessary.
